On May 6th, 2009 Uncommon Results was proud to collaborate with Lukas Lundin of Lundin for Africa and Chip and Shannon Wilson of Imagine One Day; two prominent local Vancouver foundations working in the African cause. The event took place at Coast Restaurant in Vancouver, and it was attended by 160 of Vancouver’s finest guests. This event posed an exciting & unique challenge to the Uncommon Results team as the vision of Lundin For Africa and Imagine 1 Day had to be communicated under the roof of a single event concept. With proceeds being split 50%-50% between the causes, it was important that guests and donors could differentiate the mission of each foundation easily. This was achieved through a collaborative discovery process with both foundations that led to the birth of the All The Right Reasons Concept. Through the use of an extremely compelling web presence, a value driven corporate sponsorship package, amazing keynote speakers, engaging education stations, live auction and silent giving alternatives the fundraiser more than exceeded it’s financial goals for year 1 and established a solid foundation for the brand moving forward. Two amazing causes, one spectacular, annual event that will champion the mission of both foundations for years to come.
